NAPLES, FL (July 8, 2025) – The Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF), the founding organization of the hugely successful Naples Winter Wine Festival (NWWF), today announced the appointment of Dani Henderson as Grants Manager. In this role, she will work directly with NCEF beneficiaries and the Grant Committee to support all aspects of the NCEF grant process.

Henderson brings nearly a decade of non-profit experience in Florida and South Carolina to NCEF. Most recently, she was director of educator programs and volunteer program manager for Champions For Learning, where she led both the Classroom Grants and Golden Apple initiatives. Before that, she worked for several years with Communities In Schools of Greenville, South Carolina, starting as a success coach and later on as a program director and site facilitator.

Henderson earned her bachelor’s degree from Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, North Carolina, completing more than 800 hours of volunteer work in education, housing and family support programs. She also is a graduate of the Associate Leadership Collier Class of 2024.

“We are delighted to welcome Dani to our team,” said Sarah Zaiser-Kelly, NCEF Senior Vice President, Grants and Community Impact. “Her experience in community engagement, education and nonprofit work will be a tremendous benefit in building relationships within mission driven organizations serving children in our community.”
