Naples Children Foundation Invests $2 Million to Strengthen Southwest Florida’s Behavioral Health Workforce

The Naples Children Foundation (NCF) announced a transformative three-year initiative to expand and strengthen early learning opportunities throughout Collier County. The effort is made possible through an $8 million investment generated from the extraordinary success of the Festival’s landmark 25th Anniversary year and represents one of the most significant commitments to early childhood education in the Foundation’s history.

The Naples Children Foundation (NCF) has partnered with the Florida Department of Health in Collier County, David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County Public Schools and Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) to provide medication lockboxes to parents or other caregivers of youth who are placed under the Baker Act following suicide attempts involving prescription or over-the-counter medications.
